Abstract

Original drawings and added description of a rare and little known species Xenococcus pulcher Hollenberg (Cyanoprokaryota) are presented. It was found as endophyte in the cell walls of Chaetomorpha tortuosa and Cladophora sp. (Chlorophyta) from sublittoral zone (0.2.5 m depth) at Primetniy Island, East Sakhalin.
