On the genus Heteropappus Less. (Asteraceae) in the flora of Far East

Abstract

The genus Heteropappus Less. in the flora of Far East comprises 2 sections, Heteropappus and Pseudocalymeris Tamamsch. ex Tzvel, the name of the latter being validated, and 8 species with 1 variety. A new species H. probatovae Tzvel. is described. H. decipiens Maxim. is treated as a variety of H. hispidus (Thunb.) Less. — H. hispidus var. decipiens (Maxim.) Tzvel. The key for the species identification is resulted.
