Taxonomical review of the genus Thompsonella Britton et Rose (Crassulaceae)

Abstract

A review of a small endemic Mexican genus Thompsonella Britton et Rose, which includes 8 species is given. The genus is for the first time subdivided into 3 sections: Thompsonella, Fruticulosae Byalt sect. nova and Reflexosepalae Byalt sect. nova. The key for the species identification, brief synonymy, morphological descriptions, information on types, ecology, phenology and geographical distribution of the species is given.
