Synopsis of Malvaceae in the Central Asia

Abstract

A brief critical revision of Malvaceae for the Central Asia is given. The work is based on the investigation of collections of Malvaceae from the Central Asia deposited in LE as well as on the data of floristic and taxonomic literature concerning this region. According to our revision, the Malvaceae in the Central Asia comprise 14 species belonging to 6 genera (species growing only under cultivation excluded).
