Typification of species names of the genus Thymus (Lamiaceae) described from the North Caucasus and notes to the lectotypification of T. pallasianus and T. buschianus

Abstract

For five species of the genus Thymus (Lamiaceae) described from the North Caucasus, the lectotypes are designated: T. helendzhicus Klokov et Des.-Shost., T. latissimus Klokov, T. nummularius M. Bieb., T. pulchellus C. A. Mey., T. pastoralis Iljin ex Klokov. The original material of T. odoratissimus M. Bieb. (≡ T. pallasianus Heinr. Braun) is discussed. The information on unintentional lectotypification of T. buschianus Klokov et Des.-Shost. is given.
