Annotation

This book is a hard life. Its publication is planned at the end of the 1930s, did not take place due to an unexpected ban on the publication of cartographic materials, manuscript, prepared for print for more than 60 years ago (edited by the famous Explorer of Kamchatka, soil scientist Y. A. Liverovskiy), was lost during the great Patriotic war. In our days, in connection with the beginning of industrial development of the Western areas of Kamchatka (the construction of a pipeline and roads), the book was in demand. To revive her by surviving drafts, it took the work of many scientists and specialists. The second birth of the book, we are obliged to the Director of the Kamchatka Institute of ecology and nature management FEB RAS R. S. Moiseev, the managing editor of publications B. P. Wind, engineer J. V. Savenkova and other enthusiasts. The book is published by circulation of 500 copies.

The monograph «Vegetation of the Western coast of Kamchatka» written by outstanding Russian geobotany L. N. Tyulina (1897-1991) the results of studies 1936 employees of Soil-Botanical expeditions to Kamchatka detachment SOPS an USSR.
