The classification of ruderal and seminatural vegetation of the abandoned settlements in the mountain-forest zone of Bashkortostan Republic has been made by using deductive method after K. Kopečky and S. Hejny. One new subassociation, 2 communities without syntaxonomical rank, 6 basal, and 3 derivate communities are distinguished. These communities are assigned to classes Molinio-Arrhenatheretea, Plantaginetea majoris, Galio-Urticetea, and Artemisietea vulgaris. Proposed syntaxonomical model of vegetation successions in the abandoned settlements that take place under different use conforms to an inhibition model. Effect of inhibition is stronger when the use of serial communities by man (phytomass removal by moving and/or grassing) is less intensive. It is suggested that dominant species of the initial succession stages play the inhibition role due to their high competitive ability on the nitrophillous substrates.
