2000 — graduated from St. Petersburg State University, Faculty of Biology and Soil Science, Department of Geobotany. Master's thesis «Features of the formation of forest climax communities (on the example of different types of spruce forests)».
2007 — Ph.D. thesis «Dynamics of spruce forests in the North-West of Russia in connection with the formation of windows».
2011 — UNESCO Prize for scientific research «Dynamics of postwind spruce forests of the Central Forest Reserve in the long term».
2012 — Diploma of the II degree of the F.R. Shtilmark competition for the book «Atlas of Plants of the Central Forest State Natural Biosphere Reserve».

2000 — until now — have been working at the Komarov Botanical Institute of the RAS, position Senior Researcher.
