Education and work experience:

1971 – graduated from the Department of Botany of the Biology and Soil Faculty of the Leningrad State University.
1976 – graduated from the post-graduate school of the Komarov Botanical Institute RAS.
1977 – awarded the degree of Candidate of Biological Sciences (Ph.D.), Komarov Botanical Institute RAS. Specialty – 03.00.05 – botany. Dissertation topic: «Patterns of development of soil algae in coniferous and deciduous forests of the Moscow region».

1977-1993 – employee of the laboratory of algology of the Komarov Botanical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
1991-2007 – Scientific Secretary of the Dissertation Council for the defense of doctoral and candidate dissertations at the Komarov Botanical Institute RAS.
1994-2014 – Scientific Secretary of the Komarov Botanical Institute RAS. Head of the Scientific and Organizational Department of the Institute.
2014 – until now – employee of the Laboratory of Algology of the Komarov Botanical Institute RAS.
